Nature Yoga


Start your weekend off right and join TNC Environmental Educator, Elizabeth Hinckley, naturalist and certified yoga instructor, for Nature Yoga on Saturday mornings! Through a series of physical explorations and mindfulness techniques, participants will have the chance to unwind and connect with a meditative experience as they gently explore the natural world and self. Participants will be surrounded by the sights, sounds, and scents of nature in our covered pavilion as they explore a new nature theme each week.

Adult students of any ability welcome. Program is for individuals 16 and up. Please bring your own mat, and an optional light blanket. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held under cover.

Classes are held outside beneath our pavilion, where you will be serenaded by birdsong, rustling leaves, and sometimes raindrops!

Students will have the opportunity to deepen their awareness of themselves and nature, through themes ranging from the elements, the importance of breath, or perhaps an up-close encounter with one of our animal ambassadors.
