All trips depart and return to the Alpine Boat Basin

The A.J. Meerwald, New Jersey’s official Tall Ship, is a magnificently restored, two-masted, 115-foot oyster schooner, built in 1928, and driven by over 3,500 square feet of sail. When the Meerwald visits Alpine just once a year, we offer themed trips focusing on NJ’s history, art, music, and, of course, nature! Passengers will view the majestic Palisades and city skyline as they listen to informative presentations.
