About Tenafly Nature Center
Located in Bergen County, NJ, Tenafly Nature Center is one of America's most well respected nature preserves & promoters of environmental education.
Run by the Tenafly Nature Center Association, a nonprofit association, TNC is charged with the stewardship of nearly 400 acres of Tenafly Borough owned land.

What We Do
"Enriching lives through nature"
Tenafly Nature Center provides sanctuary for visitors who desire to develop connection with their local surroundings. Visitors can take advantage of TNC's educational programs, access center resources or simply explore at their leisure.
For half a century, Tenafly Nature Center has fostered a wide-reaching understanding and appreciation of nature, through leadership in open-space preservation and education programs focused on nature, science and the environment.
The wonderful support Tenafly Nature Center receives from corporations, foundations, and community groups makes it possible to continue our mission. The financial and volunteer support from these partners helps us serve as stewards of this land, protecting the air and water quality, and preserving the native plant and wildlife habitats for generations to come.
