Pavilion & Campfire Rentals
Tenafly Nature Center rents the Education Pavilion & Campfire Circle to its members for meetings, workshops, or parties. The facility is suited to small low-key events: adult groups and children’s parties with a maximum with a maximum of 50 people.
Campfire or Fireplace Use
Individuals and families wishing to enjoy the trails and not reserve a space exclusively are welcome dawn to dusk everyday. You are able to use the picnic tables in and/or around the pavilion whenever they are not in use by a TNC program or reserved group.
Please contact the Event/Birthday Coordinator via email or call (201) 568-6093 for any interest in the use of the campfire ring and/or fireplace. We encourage all visitors to make a small donation (suggested at $2 per person), which can be placed in the donation box located on the porch of the visitors center.
Reservations are required for all groups of 10+ people to avoid conflicts.
Groups of Tenafly Public School students and teachers, municipal groups such as the library, police, fire, or other officially sponsored borough groups, may use the facility without charge.
For all other groups not officially sponsored by the borough of Tenafly, you must be or become a current TNC member in order to rent any of the facilities.
Our professional Environmental Educators offer a wide variety of programming to over 1100 groups of area families, adults, and children each year. With their boundless curiosity, participants touch, observe and listen to the natural world.
Our programs are designed for all ages and are available throughout the year. Programs are designed for groups that range in size, but space is limited and reservations are required.
Schedule an environmental education-based program with the staff at the Tenafly Nature Center. Our Environmental Educators will lead your group on a hands-on learning and observational exploration of the wonders of the natural world.
