Testimonials
Hear what
NY teachers had to say after traveling with Jennifer on Caribbean
eco tours in 2002. They became certified SCUBA divers, swam with
dolphins, climbed a mountain, snorkeled on coral reefs and ate
dinner with a view of the Caribbean Sea nearly every night. They
earned professional development credits and one of the teachers even started
a SCUBA club in her school.
"I have been to [the aquarium] so
many times, but nothing compares to seeing the fish in their natural
environment. This had been a dream of a lifetime." - Grace
"Each day has gotten better and
better! Everything is perfect. Next year you should keep everything
the same." - Kryn and Dan
"I'm so proud of myself; I've been
telling everybody that I am a SCUBA diver now." - Jen
"Thanks for the opportunity to
hang out in paradise." - Julie
"This really is an accomplishment;
I haven't been in the ocean for almost 40 years… You are so
patient." -Grace
"You're batting 1000 for your
enthusiasm" - Dan
"Well, its only under your
leadership that we overcome our challenges." - Althea
"They are doing such a great job
at balancing teaching and relaxing time." - Kryn
"How
are guys going to possibly top this tomorrow?" - Althea after our
trip to the mangrove reserve in Sian Kaan, Mexico
What impact did 10 days in Curacao have on your life?
"I have already begun to generate an interest in marine life, both
for my students and faculty.
The 10 days in Curacao helped me to overcome a fear of underwater
and now I am looking forward to experiencing diving in other areas
of the world."
What was the best
aspect of your eco tour?
"The intensity of the SCUBA diving classes! I much prefer to delve
into the subject, as opposed to taking a 6-week class that meets
once a week.
Additionally, the dives were in real ecosystems, not pools; this
made for a much more comprehensive learning experience!"
