If you miss EXIT 71, don't panic!
Continue east on I-80/95, and take EXIT 72, signed for Routes 9W, 1, 9, 47; "No re-entry to bridge"; there's a traffic light immediately off the exit; turn left and follow the signs for Route 9W, northbound. From Route 9W (Sylvan Avenue), turn left at the traffic light for East Clinton Avenue/ Tenafly. Go about 1 mile, and turn right at the next traffic light, which is Engle Street. Proceed as above.

Arrive by Public Transportation

By Bus: There are no busses that operate within walking distance to the park entrance located at 313 Hudson Ave.

However, the Rockland Coaches Inc. bus operates the Route 9, 9A, 9T, and 9TA bus, which travels along U.S. Route 9W. This provides access to many of the trails in the Lost Brook Preserve. Click here for further information.

These busses can be reached from New York City, Rockland County and points in New Jersey. Rockland Coaches Number 9 bus, departs from Port Authority’s George Washington Bridge Terminal (located at 175th Street, and accessible from the A express subway line) or from the Port Authority Bus Terminal (located at 42nd Street). The Number 9 bus stops at Bridge Plaza in Fort Lee (where a number of other bus lines connect at the Bridge Plaza stop from points in New Jersey), then travels up U.S. Route 9W to Rockland County
