The John A. Redfield Building houses a small natural history museum with live animals, exhibits, and hands-on artifacts; a gift shop, a library, staff offices, and restrooms. The museum also doubles as a classroom.

The Redfield Building and Education Pavilion may be closed to the public during education programs.

Open from dawn to dusk every day.

After hours parking is available on Hudson Avenue.

Natural History Library

Members of the Tenafly Nature Center may borrow books, audio tapes, and videos from the collection.  Visitors to the library may enjoy the books during their time in the building.  Scout leaders and teachers will find many resources for lessons and activities for groups and classrooms.
