Opening

Thursday, July 10
 6-8 pm

This July art and nature will combine in a photography exhibit featuring the Hudson River. In celebration of the A.J. Meerwald (Enjoy the river first hand, sign up for an AJ Meerwald sail by clicking here) Englewood Cliffs photographer Suzy Rosenberg will exhibit her breathtaking images at the TNC visitor’s center from Thursday, July 10 through Tuesday, August 5.

Please join us for a special reception on Thursday, July 10 from 6-8 pm.

Suzy Rosenberg is a local photographer who has dedicated the past three years to photographing the Hudson River and its environment. In this exhibit of her Hudson River photographs, she has captured moments of ecstasy and despair, glory and wonder through the changing seasons and changing environment of the Hudson River Basin.  “Almost every day the power of the river pulls me to the water’s edge to find beauty, calm, and freedom.  Photographing our river environment has brought me a deeper understanding of our complex relationship to the Hudson.  My hope is that through my lens you can reflect on what the Hudson River means to you.”

Ms. Rosenberg’s work has been exhibited at Farleigh Dickinson University, the Nanuet Public Library, the Puffin Cultural Forum, and numerous local establishments. Her photographs have won awards from the New York Sheep and Wool Festival and from the Tenafly Nature Center for a 2005 exhibit at the Tenafly Public Library.

The sales of all work from this exhibit will benefit the Tenafly Nature Center.
