The following programs are specially developed for students aged 4 to 9 years old who like to learn about the wonders of the natural world. Professional environmental educators will guide your child both outside along the trails and indoors in the Education Pavilion and Redfield Building. Learn about the animals of New Jersey, create natural art projects, discover what our backyards have to offer.
Children must be registered for the appropriate age group. Programs are for registrants only; pre k parents may stay, but not with siblings. Children must be checked in and out each day. Students need to be dressed for the weather and wear appropriate outdoor footwear.

Refund Policy:
We can offer
refunds only if the program is
canceled or rescheduled by Tenafly Nature Center due to insufficient
registration, bad weather or related causes. Due to the number of registrations received
for our numerous programs, we are no longer able to provide refunds due to changes in
individual schedules, illness, or other personal reasons. No refunds will be given after the series begins.
