Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-Yoku, is a meditation practice developed in Japan in the 1980's.  Forest Bathing does not involve any physical bathing, but a mental bath in a serene forested environment designed to help you slow down, de-stress and reconnect to your natural self.

Forest Bathing affords you the time necessary to heal and fortify your mind, body, and soul in a natural setting while under the guidance and mentoring of experienced guide Thomas Schuchaskie, who at times will be unseen, but still around, allowing you time to be “alone.”

The Gong Bath is waves of sonic vibrations that, when paired with intention and played therapeutically, allows the mind, body, and senses to expand and align in a natural healing balance.  Your sound healing guide and Gong Specialist, Nechama Karp, will introduce you to gentle guided body and breath awareness–integral for your optimal preparedness to enjoy your gong listening experience. The sound of the gong played this way produces a spontaneous state of meditation and integration that only requires you to relax and listen.

This, first time ever, Forest Bathing Gong Bath is uniquely designed for opening the way for your total immersion into the magnificent wonders and beauties of wild nature on this special day, Autumnal Equinox!

Enjoy becoming one with nature during the beautiful seasonal transition as the forest transforms into its glorious fall colors in our natural sanctuary.

Our instructors will help you find your own safe areas in the forest and gathering space where you’ll be able to meditate, reflect, and detox from your everyday hectic life.

“We will mentor you as you slow down, relax your mind, attain calmness, expand your senses, and nourish your spirit, allowing the forest and sacred sound experience to rejuvenate and restore your energies. We are dedicated to giving you a pleasant and profound experience.”
