Here at TNC we have a wonderful collection of natural resources for you to enjoy, including our library. Comprised of over 1000 items, this extensive assortment of books and media can help answer any questions you might have about our natural world.  Whether you want to come in and identify an organism, attain research material for a school subject, or relax and read about our environment this resource is here for you to enjoy.

  • Members may check out any non-reference item from the library

    • Up to 5 books may be checked out for two weeks at a time

    • DVDs and other multimedia may only be checked out one at a time for one week

  • Nonmembers may not check out any library item but they may enjoy the items in the building

  • Staff must sign out any library item

  • After two weeks any checked out item may be renewed by phone once more

  • If any material is lost, the member must replace or pay the cost of replaceent of the material (including shipping).

  • Reference materials may not be borrowed

Located in the John A. Redfield Visitors Center its hours of operation are as follows:

Nature Center Hours
 The Redfield Building and Education Pavilion may be closed to the public during major holidays and programs.
Weekdays: 9 am - 5 pm
Weekends: 11 am - 4 pm
