Explore the challenges of winter survival for plants and non hibernating animals. Students will investigate how non-hibernating animals and plants adapt to colder temperatures and shorter days. Participants will also look at human survival in cold weather and build a survival shelter in the the 

Tenafly Nature Center's woods.  

No strollers or unregistered siblings, please. Students should wear sturdy closed-toed footwear. Rain or shine. Parents are welcome to drop off or stay with the group at no charge. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
